The Wittmann Family

Today is Maicy's first birthday. I just finished making her butterfly cake. It was not as easy as I thought it was going to be. Well... I guess just the pink frosting part was hard. The rest was fun. So even though it takes a lot more time and effort I will probably do more piping of the frosting next time to avoid the frustration of trying to smooth out the pink over all of the corners. Yes, it's laying on a cutting board. I tried to find some tin foil, but apparently I forgot to buy some last time I was at the store. (Chase wasted a whole roll just a week or two ago by pulling it all out of the roll and playing with it.:) Piping words seems to be something I need a WAY more practice with! I thought it turned out ok though for my first attempt.
